There is a hole in your heart.

Today, we are going back to the basics. King's Daughter, there is a hole in your heart the shape of God. People, places, and things are pieces that do not and will never fit in this hole! Only God completely satisfies and fulfills this deep need for Him.

Here, you see someone who is trying to fill their need for God with things of the world. This person can spend time, effort, and money trying to make those pieces fit into the "God-shaped hole" in their heart. Ultimately, he or she will come to the painful realization that it is impossible to fill the void made only for God. "Those who run after other gods will suffer more and more." (Psalm 16:4). 

King's daughter, God, your Provider, Satisfier, and Loving Father is the only thing that will satisfy, complete, and fulfill your heart's deepest need. He invites you to His throne every day - where He will fill your heart with His abundance.

“Come! Everyone who thirsts,Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk, without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good,

And let your soul delight itself in abundance." Isaiah 55:1-2

Why do you try to quench your thirst for Christ 

with the dehydrating substitutes of the world?

Why do you spend time, money, and labor on things that ultimately do not satisfy?

Why do you try to fill the hole in your heart with pieces that do not fit?

Everything you long for, Christ fulfills.

Every you need, Christ satisfies and provides. 

Every thirst, He quenches. 

Every hole, He fills.
