Look down the center of this painting by none other than my madre Ginnie Johnson: "I live in the Son Himself." Whew! What a relief! No more of my own effort. No more "doing better" or "trying harder" just dying to my flesh daily and living by Christ's power in me. He will be the daughter, friend, professional, and King's daughter in and through me. King's daughter, the gospel is that your flesh was crucified with Jesus 2,000 and now you get to live by "the faith of the Son of God" who loves you and gave Himself for you. Spend some time reading Galatians 2:20 and reflect on what it means to be crucified with Christ and live by His strength!
